Patrick Frankham, PHD
CEO & Director
Dr. Patrick Frankham founded several healthcare startup enterprises including healthcare information technology, services and pharmaceuticals companies. Dr. Frankham has over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical and services industries across several therapeutic areas. His professional experience includes public and private companies as well as multinational corporations. Notable prior organizations where he held increasing leadership roles in Preclinical, Regulatory, Medical and Business Development include Phoenix International Life Sciences (MDS Pharma Services), AeternaZentaris, BioAxone Biosciences, ICON Clinical Research & Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH. While at Boehringer Ingelheim, he developed novel business models to optimize therapeutics by combining mobile technology and therapies. He is currently Vice President International, Physicians Interactive. Dr Frankham obtained his PhD in Molecular Endocrinology, Université Laval, Québec, Canada and his MBA in Management & Finance, University of Liverpool, UK.
Dr. Joseph Borovsky, PHD
Executive Vice President, Product Development, Chairman and Director
Dr. Borovsky is an experienced CEO and entrepreneur with broad-based success in leading major corporate research and development as well as innovative technology startups, P & L operations, sales, and marketing. Formerly the director of R & D for Mead Corporation, Dr. Borovsky received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of California at Los Angeles, and his Ph.D. in Physical Organic Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He also completed a year of post- doctoral research in Medicinal Chemistry at Washington State University College of Pharmacy, Pullman, WA, and was a Research Fellow in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Wolfgang Renz, MD, PHD
Chief Medical Officer & Director
Wolfgang Renz is President of International Business at Physicians Interactive. Formerly, he served as Corporate Vice President of Business Model & Healthcare Innovation at Boehringer Ingelheim, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. For over a decade, he has been involved in developing medicines and technology to help people lead healthier, more productive lives. At Boehringer Ingelheim, he led a team of specialists to find, test, and develop the disruptive technologies that will shape the way health care will be delivered in the future. In addition, he also serves as Adjunct Professor of Surgery at McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine in Montreal, Canada. Prof. Renz holds a medical degree and a PhD from Freiburg University and is board certified in Germany in emergency medicine.
Moira Ong, CPA, CA
Chief Financial Officer
Moira Ong is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 16 years of experience in accounting and consulting. Moira was the Chief Financial Officer of Neurokine Pharmaceuticals Inc. and was an officer in the finance capacity of Merus Labs International Inc. from March 2010 through December 2012. In addition to holding her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) designation, Moira is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Dr. Leonid Lurya, MD, PHD
Executive Director of Formulations
Dr. Lurya is the inventor of Thrudermic transdermal technology and has extensive experience in leadership of multiple pharmaceutical projects, from the concept stage to pre-clinical and clinical stages (Phase I – Phase IV). He received his MD from the Moscow Medical Institute No. 2, Russia and then completed his PhD in Biophysics, Chemical Physics Department at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel.

Pat has an in-depth understanding of management, operations, production systems, packaging design, branding, sales and marketing. Pat graduated the University of Southern California and lives in Corona Del Mar with his wife of twenty-one years and their three children. Pat started his first company, AquaBrew, Inc. DBA: Caféjo, in 1989 and it is in operation today. Based off of technology Pat created and patented, Caféjo is a manufacturer of coffee and tea commercial brewing equipment. Caféjo currently produces over thirty-five different brewers and under 21 of Pat’s patents. In 1999, Caféjo started roasting and packaging coffee and tea. Currently, Caféjo produces 22 different coffees and 13 different tea in multiple single-cup formats like: K cups and pods. Pat’s company has produced over 1 billion packaged items and sells to: Office Depot, DS Waters, Target, Aramark, Wal-Mart, Amazon, Sam’s Club, Office Max and several other national and regional companies. To help give back in a sustainable way, Pat created My Cup Counts® and partnered with My Day Counts® a 501(c)(3) non- profit, to provide minimum wage jobs, training and independence for people with special needs. Currently the program supports over 200 adults with disabilities with a staff of 35. In 2000, Pat started RDX LLC and manufacturing company that produced roller hockey pucks. Pat was awarded the NHL® licensing and started producing and selling NHL team branded pucks throughout the country. Pat sold the assets of RDX LLC to Mylec Sports for an all cash transaction within three years of starting the company. Pat has been involved with the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance a 501(c)(3) non-profit and held a board position form 2003 – 2005 and then sat on the endowment board of TS Alliance from 2006 – 2008.

Pivot Naturals LLC (USA)
Ross Franklin, Co-founder of ERS Holdings, has worked in the cannabis industry for eight years, getting his start managing small indoor growing operations in Northern California and eventually earning the credibility to manage large-scale indoor and outdoor cultivation sites. Ross co-created the Instant THC and Instant CBD brands and is co-inventor and co-author of an approved patent for R.T.I.C. process involving the powderization of cannabis oils. Prior to his work in the cannabis industry, Ross Franklin co-founded and acted as CEO of a furniture manufacturing export company based out of China, in conjunction with a United States-based import company. Ross oversaw and managed complex supply chains, international transactions, customs clearance issues and large contract manufacturing projects for Jamba Juice, RC Willey and Costco Home through his Shanghai-based manufacturing contacts.
Ross graduated from California State University of San Bernardino with Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Public Administration and currently lives in Anaheim, California with his wife, Rachel and their two dogs.
